Job Description
Job Summary:
As DotNet Manager, s/he will work on a variety of projects in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment. S/He will be responsible for managing a group of technical people of KPMG, India. Part of the core team, s/he will be responsible for the full life cycle of the process, teamhandling, deliverables, reporting status to leadership etc.SHe/ He will work closely withTechnical Architect, Business Analyst, user interaction designers, and other software engineers to provide best software solutions. He will also be responsible for handling technical/non-technical queries of his team. Additionally, s/he ensures that all development practices are in compliance with KPMG’s best practices policies and procedures.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist Software Designer/ Implement withthecreation of detailed software design specifications.
- Involved in the review process for software architecture documents.
- Works on extremely complex specialized technical problems and provides highly innovative yet practical solutions
- Participate in the system specification review process to ensure system requirements can be translated in to valid software architecture
- Integrate internal and external product design in to acohesive user experience
- Must be able to facilitate scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, review and daily stand-ups.
- Must be responsible for project reporting-dashboards, status reports, road maps, burn down, velocity and resource
- utilization.
- Must be able to work with the teams to ensure project success within budget, timeline and scope.
- Must be able to facilitate discussion, decision making,conflict resolution and alternatives or different approaches.
- Must be able to make the tough calls and be a voice of reason and authority.
- Must be able to lead a team to self-organization and cross-functional.
- Must be the first to notice differences and issues as they arise and elevate them to management.

Qualifications:
- Technical Manager with 10+ years of experience in .NET/Mobile based technology projects
- Master’s degree in computer science or related field
- Should have extensive delivery experience in product/ application development using Microsoft technologies.
- Sound knowledge and experience in SOLID principles and industry bes tpractices using MicrosoftTechnologies ismust.
- Should have hands on experience in development and unit testing (automation) of applications on Microsoft ASP.NET
- MVC, WPF, RESTful services, Web API, AngularJS, jQuery and Should have extensive experience in Database design,Continuous Integration(TFS,GitHub,TeamCity,Jenkinsetc.)
- Expert level knowledge of devops and azure technology.
- Should have knowledge in XML/ JSON,AJAXetc.
- Should have handled multi-shoreprojects/ product development initiatives.
- Must be an advocate of SDLC models like Waterfall, Agile Scrum, Kanban, etc.
- Must have good balance between practical implementation and theoretical knowledge on Agile delivery models.
- Should understand fundamentals of iterative development.
- Should be highly process driven professional.
- Ideal candidate would be a person with high ethics,values and principles to work in a multi-cultural environment.
- Understand abstract concepts and translating them into technical solutions which are based on Microsoft technologies to meet the business needs.
- Own the technical solution and ensure all technical aspects are implemented as designed.
- Superior troubleshooting ability,strong analytical abilities,and drive for results
- Possess good communication skills in English and good technical documentation skills
- Expert level knowledge of .Net3. 5 and 4.0 framework development
- Experienced in .NET based development: C#, ASP.NET, WCF ,MVC, Entity Framework, LINQ,ETL, and web development skills: DHTML using JQuery, JavaScript, CSS.
- Excellent communication skills.
