Job Description
Overview:
We
are looking for an Application Support Analyst who will be responsible
for supporting our inhouse & external applications and understands
the ITIL framework.
The major role of this profile will be to support
and maintain inhouse legacy applications within the given TAT & as
per the defined SLA.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Managing cases, requests and enhancements using online tools and processes
User creation, workflow setup, customization & post Go live support to applications.
Automation of new user onboarding process
Work with Cross-Functional Teams
Ensuring that applications are fully operational, and any loss of service is restored in a timely and efficient manner
Providing a high level of service to our end users and adhering to our strict SLAs for response and restoration times
Problem determination, workaround resolution, root cause analysis, major incident management
Enhancement & support to inhouse & external applications and customisations
Automation of new user onboarding process
Ability to diagnose & address application issues
Ensure that solution and application support documentation is maintained to the highest quality and accuracy
Other Responsibilities:
To assist with the support of internal applications and infrastructure
Creation and distribution of knowledge and information with other team members and the company
Providing assistance and cover for other team members where required
Additional Information
Required Skills:
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Practical experience of SQL Server & IIS
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Excellent customer service skills
Understanding of software development cycle(SDLC)
Excellent written and spoken English
Flexibility – responsibilities may require occasional evening and weekend work Desirable Skills
Previous experience dealing with support cases or requests via e-mail, ITSM Ticketing tools telephone and in person
Ability to understand the logic flow of programming through reading .net, C#, Java Script or XSLT content.
SQL Server administration or development
Familiarity with source control and development IDEs
Understanding of Incident, change and release management
Knowledge of reporting tools
Experience of handling tickets through any ITSM tools like Service now, Remedy ..etc
Required Qualification — B.Tech / BCA
